Hello! My name is Kristen Anderson and I serve as the Lead Student Support Advocate (SSA) for the Mukilteo School District. My role is to support students and families and help connect them with school and community resources. Mental Health

Washington Mental Health Referral Service for Children and Teens

833-303-5437 | M-F 8am-5pm

Connects families with mental health providers in their community who accept new patients, work with their insurance and fit their child’s treatment needs. The Referral Service is accessible to children and teens 17 and under living in Washington state. Teens between the ages of 13 and 17 can also call the Referral Service to find providers for themselves.  Call during business hours or fill out an online referral on their website to get support.

Clothing and Basic Needs

Clothes For Kids provides free school clothing to lower-income students. Any child who attends school in Snohomish County or the Northshore School District (Head Start/ECEAP through 12th grade) and requests help qualifies for Clothes For Kids. Clothing is distributed from August through the end of March.  Please go to website to schedule an appointment.

 

St. Vincent de Paul - Utility Assistance & Bed Program

Their helpline is answered by volunteers, who will enter people into theirsecure network referral system and refer them to volunteers in their local area, the volunteer will then make contact with the client to set up a home visit to meet and assess how St. Vincent de Paul may assist.

 

Help Me Grow WA

Help Me Grow WA helps people across the state navigate complex health and social service systems. With thousands of resources in their database, they connect people every day to the community supports they need— including applying for medicaid and basic food programs. 

 

LIHEAP-Energy Assistance 

The Energy Assistance Program provides a one-time per heating season assistance in paying the heat bill for eligible households. Benefits of the Energy Assistance Program may include: help with all heat fuel types (oil, natural gas, wood, propane, and electric), grants ranging from $100 to $2500 (depending on income, household size, type of housing, and heat bill), some heating system repairs, water & sewer assistance for eligible clients (see Water/Sewer Assistance Program web page), air conditioners provided to recipients of a LIHEAP grant - based on availability.
