Meet the Counselors

Voyager Counselors will ‘roll up’ with your students throughout their middle school journey. Please do not hesitate to reach out to your students counselor through ParentSquare.

6th Grade Counselor- Ms. Reid

Ms. Reid

A fun fact about me is that I swam with sharks and dolphins while scuba diving! My favorite thing to do is take my dog on long walks and listen to music. Movies and popcorn are my second favorite. I love being a school counselor because I get to learn about young people’s life stories, experiences, likes and dislikes, and everyday they teach me something new. There is never a boring moment when you’re a school counselor!

I am so excited to be a part of the Voyager Counseling Team! I love spending time with my family, visiting new travel spots, and cooking! My absolute favorite thing to do is watch sports, especially hockey and football! I love being a school counselor and am looking forward to joining you on this middle school adventure.

I am thrilled to be a counselor at Voyager Middle School! When I'm not at school, I love to read (I've been on a magical fantasy kick lately), sew, plan adventures with friends, and hang out with my family. I am here to support students academically, socially, and emotionally and can't wait to meet all of you and get to know your amazing strengths and personalities.

The Voyager Counseling Team is excited to welcome Interns, Victoria and Rheeno, to the team this school year. Students will have opportunities to meet with our Counseling Interns for individual sessions, groups and classroom lessons.

Hi everyone!  I am an Intern School Counselor for the 6th Grade Class. I am currently pursuing my Master’s Degree over at Grand Canyon University. My hope for the future is to work in a high school environment. I love to read, take my dog Sonya on hikes, do puzzles, and play video games. I am originally from Portland, Oregon.

Counseling Intern: Rheeno Kwak

Hello everyone! I am the new 7th grade counseling intern for this year! I am in the third (and final) year of my school counseling program at Seattle University. A little about me: I love anything and everything basketball, cooking new recipes, and being active outdoors. I am looking forward to hopefully meeting many of you throughout the school year.
