Does your student and/or family need support with basic needs or holiday help this year?  If so, please complete this form and someone from our Voyager support team will reach out to you with in-district or community resources.

LIHEAP - Energy Assistance

The Energy Assistance Program provides a one-time per heating season assistance in paying the heat bill for eligible households.

Benefits of the Energy Assistance Program include:

-The program helps with all heat fuel types (oil, natural gas, wood, propane, and electric).
-The program provides grants ranging from $100 to $2500 (depending on income, household size, type of housing, and heat bill)
-The program provides some heating system repairs for the applicant owner

Water & Sewer assistance for eligible clients (see Water/Sewer Assistance Program web page)
- Air Conditioners provided to recipients of a LIHEAP grant - based on availability
 

Clothes for Kids - Clothing Resource

Clothes For Kids provides free school clothing for lower-income students.

 

Low-income youth who attend schools (or live) in Snohomish County or the Northshore School District (Head start/ECEAP through 12th grade) are eligible. To confirm eligibility, please bring one documents from the list below for income verification. We will not keep a copy on file.

  • EBT card
  • TANF form
  • Free or reduced lunch qualification form

Hand In Hand - Basic Needs, Financial Assistance, Clothing

The Hand in Hand Outreach Program provides support services and community engagement events to children and families in our community. Working closely with the family, we connect them to internal resources, as well as other local agencies when additional support is needed.

  • Finding a place to live
  • Retaining current housing
  • Basic necessities: food, toiletries, diapers
  • Mental health support
  • DSHS and government benefit applications
  • Medical insurance applications
  • Connecting those living with disabilities to support resources
  • Veteran services
  • Job search: resumes and cover letters
  • Utilities (with disconnection notice)
  • Emergency clothing and household items
  • Back to school supplies
  • Holiday giving for children
  • Referrals to community resources

 

Operation School Bell - Clothing Resource

Operation School Bell provides clothing to K-12 students who demonstrate financial need and attend schools in Snohomish County. If you sign up for OSB, you will be sent an order form to return to school. Once the form is received by the Student Support Advocate (SSA), it will be submitted to Operation School Bell for fulfillment. You have 2 options for collecting clothing: 

If you are interested in signing your student up for the Operation School Bell clothing program, please email your grade level counselor. 

  1. In-person pick up at Voyager MS (by parent or guardian)
  2. Student transport home (by bus or walking)

St. Vincent de Paul - Utility Assistance & Bed Program

Our helpline is answered by volunteers, who will enter people into our secure network referral system and refer them to volunteers in their local area, the volunteer will then make contact with the client to set up a home visit to meet and assess how St. Vincent de Paul may assist.
